Duration: 4 – 6-week contract (may lead to consideration for future project assignments)

Rate: $23 –$ 25 per hour

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Human Resources Administrator for a short-term, on-site contract. This combined HR Operations and Payroll position provides transactional support for employees in the United States and Canada. You must have a strong HRIS background, Success Factors experience, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee data and records in HRIS and payroll systems, including job title, salary, and tax changes.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding in Success Factors, ensuring required documentation is completed and filed.
  • Maintain data integrity across payroll and HRIS systems.
  • Resolve employee inquiries through Service Now and escalated issues as needed.
  • Support HR administrative tasks and projects.
  • Assist with payroll submissions as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of related HR administrative experience, preferably in a global matrixed organization.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Success Factors, Hire Right, Kronos, or similar HRIS, payroll, and employee-management software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented recordkeeping and data entry.
  • Ability to manage high-volume requests, meet customer service-level expectations, and deliver responsive support to employees and HR stakeholders.
  • Discretion with confidential information and knowledge of payroll compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment, including with employees at all levels and partners in HR, Finance, and other departments.
  • Adaptability to payroll law changes and new systems and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using an HR ticketing system such as Service Now to manage and track support requests and employee inquiries.
  • Working knowledge of payroll practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with ADP Global View , Workday, or similar payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of Canadian payroll regulations.
