Pay $25+/hour DOE Schedule Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Location Houston, TX | Onsite
What You'll Do- Serve as a resource for employees regarding general HR questions and requests.
- Provide professional support by phone, email, and in person.
- Assist with employee onboarding, new-hire processes, and employment-related documentation.
- Help employees navigate HR systems and complete routine HR processes.
- Assist with questions related to benefits, training, employee status, and other HR programs.
- Maintain accurate employee information, records, and documentation.
- Enter and update information within internal HR systems.
- Respond to employee inquiries and follow up to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Support HR-related administrative projects and special assignments.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating employee training and other HR activities.
- Provide reception support by greeting employees, candidates, contractors, and visitors.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or team member.
- Assist with onboarding check-in, visitor verification, and contractor processing.
- Coordinate employee and contractor identification and badge requests.
- Assist with document scanning, electronic filing, and data entry.
- Provide general assistance and directions to visitors and employees.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, and customer service at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4+ years of experience in HR, administrative support, customer service, clerical work, or a related field.
- Previous HR experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Comfortable learning and working within HRIS and other computer systems.
- Professional, approachable, and service-oriented personality.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
