Human Resources Coordinator

SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for performing a broad spectrum of duties and services as it relates to human resources activities. The key focus areas for the position include recruiting, training and development, employee relations, as well as reporting and analytics.

Recruiting

• Responsible for full cycle recruiting for all job openings
• Posts jobs in a timely manner per manager’s direction
• Screens candidates to consider for interview
• Interviews candidates as needed
• Schedules interviews with managers
• Follow up with interviews and follow up with candidates to let them know the status of their application and/or interview
• Extends offers to successful candidates
• Provides metrics that show efficiency gain potential for recruiting processes
• Coordinates with the HR Coordinator and other HR team members, as needed, for the new hire’s first day of employment

Employee Relations

• Handles employee complaints that cannot be resolved by the employee’s manager.
• Escalates serious complaints and claims to the Human Resources Manager.
• Ensures that claims are handled in a sensitive and confidential manner to ensure fairness for all parties involved.
• Communication policy changes employees and managers.

Reporting and Analytics

• Proactively analyzes workforce-related data to find trends and facts that will help with the efficiency and engagement of the company
• Provides weekly reporting metrics for HR-related functions, such as turnover, new hire, safety incidents, time, and attendance, etc.

Other

• Completes other projects or assignments as required by circumstance or as directed by the HR Manager
• Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements related to product and service quality, environmental standards, food safety, and health and safety regulations.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, eliminating hazards, and reducing health and safety risks.
• Assist other HR team members as needed.
