What You’ll Do

Do you thrive at the intersection of technology, business, and user experience—solving complex production issues while keeping both client impact and long-term product health in focus? As an IT Senior Product Manager I, you’ll play a critical role in managing and resolving production application challenges for a client-facing, custom-built platform. You’ll approach multiple types of end users with empathy, balancing individual needs with broader business objectives, while ensuring issues are thoroughly assessed, documented, and driven through resolution.

This role is deeply hands-on and collaborative. You’ll own problems throughout their full lifecycle—from intake and analysis to work around development, release planning, and validation across multiple environments. Working closely with application development teams, Security Governance, Risk, Business Development, and other key stakeholders, you’ll translate real-world user issues into clear functional and technical requirements using the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Operating as a business and practice-facing IT driver within the private fund formation space, you’ll help shape product direction while continuously strengthening your technical and analytical expertise.

A flexible schedule will be needed at times to ensure critical incidents are resolved with urgency and quality.

  • Production Problem Management: Lead production application issues to resolution, assessing root causes, developing interim workarounds, and ensuring comprehensive documentation for build teams.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with mid- to senior-level management, attorneys, developers, architects, vendors, and end users to align solutions with business and client needs.
  • Requirements & Analysis: Translate user-reported problems and requests into clear functional and technical requirements, grounded in trends identified from production incidents.
  • Agile & SDLC Delivery: Support product delivery efforts using Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle, coordinating across Custom Application Development and Packaged Solutions teams.
  • Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans derived from functional requirements, evaluate results, and track issues through firm-approved tools and processes.
  • Release & Change Support: Contribute to release planning, validation, and change activities across multiple environments to ensure stable, high-quality deployments.
  • Decision-Making & Tradeoffs: Balance scope, schedule, cost, and quality when recommending solutions, aligned with business goals, firm policies, and technical constraints.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process and technical improvements through independent analysis, delivering measurable outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • Leadership & Influence: Lead by example in a dynamic environment, mentoring and motivating team members while effectively escalating risks or conflicts when needed.
  • User-Centered Design: Advocate for improved user experiences that support business objectives across all initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience in business analysis, product management, process design, or related disciplines, within an iterative, phased technology environment.
  • Product & Delivery Expertise: Strong background in Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with experience planning and leading product…
