Denodo/BI Lead Developer (12 month Contract)

Our Client is a leading consulting firm engaged in a large-scale digital transformation project. They are seeking an experienced Denodo BI Developer for a 12 month contract located in Houston, Texas. It is preferred the individual is in Houston and can be onsite, but are open to a remote candidate located in the domestic US.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking a Denodo / BI Lead Developer for a 12-month engagement beginning in early 2025. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely onshore or on-site in Houston and focuses on providing technical leadership and delivering robust BI and data virtualization solutions across complex enterprise environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of BI and data virtualization solutions using Denodo
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to BI developers and data engineers
• Optimize data models, performance, and data integration workflows
• Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and solution architecture
• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Denodo development and or BI solution engineering
• Strong hands on expertise in data virtualization, data modelling, and BI tools
• Proven experience leading BI or data delivery teams in complex environments
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to deliver high quality solutions under tight timelines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
