About the job Salesforce Vlocity Order Management Architect
Job brief
We are seeking a Salesforce Vlocity Order Management Architect with extensive experience in Vlocity Communications Cloud to lead the design and delivery of complex order management solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce Industries Order Management (OM) and the ability to architect scalable, modular, and high-performing solutions that support dynamic product offerings and multi-system orchestration across the telecom domain.
Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end architecture of Salesforce Industries Order Management solutions within Communications Cloud
- Design and oversee implementation of order capture, product decomposition, orchestration, and fulfillment flows using Industries OM capabilities
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical design with business and operational goals
- Define and enforce best practices for product modeling, order lifecycle management, and guided selling experiences
- Architect scalable integrations between Salesforce Industries OM and external systems such as BSS/OSS, inventory, billing, and provisioning platforms
- Provide oversight on Omni Studio development (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, Data Raptors, Flex Cards) for order capture and customer journeys
- Drive governance across development teams including design reviews, performance tuning, and code quality standards
- Support program-level planning, estimation, and roadmap development for order management work streams
- Stay current on Salesforce Industries product roadmap and provide recommendations on how to leverage new features effectively
- Bachelors degree in Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development/architecture roles, with at least 23 years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce Industries Order Management (Vlocity OM)
Strong expertise in Communications Cloud, Vlocity Product Catalog (EPC), pricing, rules engine, and decomposition - Proven experiencetration flows and fulfillment integrations
- Deep knowledge of Omni Studio framework (OmniScripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, and Flex Cards)
- Experience working with API integrations and middleware (e.g., Mule Soft) in telecom or subscription-based services
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, Dev Ops practices, and CI/CD tooling
- Salesforce Industries and Omni Studio certifications highly desirable
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
