The Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining, delivering, and successfully launching data-driven SaaS products that serve the agronomy, sustainability, and carbon markets. This role owns product strategy and execution across the full lifecycle from concept and customer discovery through development, launch, and market adoption.
Reporting to the CTO, this role works closely with engineering, data science, sustainability solutions, business development, and customer-facing teams to translate complex agricultural and environmental challenges into scalable, market-ready technology solutions. A critical component of this role is proven ownership of go-to-market strategy for new technology products, ensuring product-market fit, customer adoption, and commercial success.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Define and execute a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company strategy and market opportunities
- Identify and validate opportunities for new digital products, analytics, and AI-driven tools that support agronomy, sustainability, and carbon market use cases
Maintain deep awareness of industry trends, customer needs, regulatory drivers, and competitive landscape
- Own and lead go-to-market strategy for new SaaS and technology product launches, from early validation through commercialization
- Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success to define positioning, pricing inputs, messaging, and launch plans
- Ensure products are market-ready with clear value propositions, target customer segments, and adoption strategies
Measure and optimize post-launch performance, customer uptake, and product success metrics
Product Development & Lifecycle Management- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, including requirements definition, prioritization, launch, and iteration
- Translate customer, market, and business needs into clear product requirements and technical specifications
- Partner closely with engineering and UX/UI teams to deliver scalable, intuitive, and high-quality SaaS products
Balance speed, quality, and technical feasibility while maintaining a strong customer-centric focus
- Guide the development of analytics, AI, and data-driven capabilities that support decision-making across agronomy, soil health, sustainability, and carbon outcomes
- Collaborate with data science teams on predictive models, algorithms, and insights generation
Ensure data integrity, scalability, and usability across digital products
- Serve as the primary product voice across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and value clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including customers and partners
Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment across product, engineering, commercial, and customer success teams
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with significant experience delivering SaaS technology products
- MUST HAVE proven experience owning and executing go-to-market strategy for new technology or SaaS products
- Strong background in agriculture, agronomy, sustainability, carbon markets, or environmental data-driven solutions
- Demonstrated success building and launching data-intensive or analytics-driven products
- Deep understanding of customer discovery, product-market fit, and commercial product launch dynamics
- Experience working closely with engineers, data scientists, agronomists, and environmental experts
- Strong technical fluency; comfortable working with analytics platforms, cloud-based architectures, and data products
- Experience with tools and technologies such as AWS, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Python, or similar (hands‑on not required, fluency expected)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and market opportunity
- Results‑oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
