Innovation Delivery Lead
Position Overview
As the Innovation Delivery Lead
, you will bridge the gap between forward looking innovation concepts and enterpriseready technology solutions. This role is responsible for taking early stage ideas, prototypes, and emerging technology pilots and guiding them through structured delivery, ensuring they become scalable, supportable, and strategically aligned products within the organization.
You will collaborate with innovation stakeholders, IT teams, security and governance groups, and external technology partners. You’ll also lead a team of Innovation Product Managers, establishing delivery discipline, driving measurable outcomes, and ensuring cross functional alignment from trial phases through production rollout.
What You’ll DoStrategic Alignment
- Partner with Innovation leadership to define execution priorities, establish delivery goals, and align projects with the organization’s long‑term innovation roadmap.
- Convert conceptual innovation initiatives into structured delivery plans, coordinating implementation across technology teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Oversee delivery of solutions leveraging Generative AI, specialized legaltech AI SaaS platforms, agentic automation workflows, AI‑enabled development tools, and custom‑built technology offerings.
- Support the design and execution of pilot programs using cloud‑based AI services, on‑premises GPU/AI environments, and emerging tooling.
- Ensure smooth transition from pilot to fully supported production environments.
- Ensure all delivered solutions adhere to enterprise architecture guidelines, integration patterns, infrastructure standards, and API frameworks.
- Partner with Responsible AI, Security, Risk, and Compliance groups to ensure solutions meet AI governance requirements, policy standards, and security controls.
- Build strong working relationships with cross‑departmental teams, promoting transparency, shared accountability, and consistent communication throughout each delivery cycle.
- Provide clear milestone tracking, stakeholder updates, and proactive risk identification and mitigation for all active initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Innovation Product Managers.
- Set delivery standards, reinforce agile practices, and remove obstacles to ensure execution excellence.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
- Proven experience overseeing technology delivery within legal, corporate, consulting, or other professional services environments.
- Strong capability in backlog management, sprint structuring, cross‑team orchestration, and readiness activities (QA, UAT, release planning, documentation).
- Experience working with application upgrades, patching cycles, environment refreshes, and coordination across Infrastructure, Security, Application, and vendor teams.
- Familiarity with managed service models, SLAs, escalation procedures, and operational platforms (e.g., Service Now, Jira).
- Knowledge of emerging AI tools, automation frameworks, agentic technology, and industry‑leading AI SaaS offerings.
- Exposure to Azure cloud services, AI/ML platforms, Functions, Logic Apps, APIs, and common enterprise integration approaches.
- Understanding of data governance practices, security frameworks, and compliance expectations within enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders, manage complex initiatives, and lead teams through influence and collaboration.
- Willingness to travel based on project needs.
