Sr. Network Security Engineer | W2

Responsibilities

• Develop secure network architectures using Cisco security products

• Create scalable security solutions for data centers, cloud environments, and remote access

• Deploy and configure firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and VPN solutions

• Integrate security policies across LAN/WAN and cloud networks

• Perform advanced troubleshooting of security incidents and network vulnerabilities

• Monitor security systems and respond to alerts promptly

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS, Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture)

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans

• Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations and procedures

• Provide regular reports on security posture and incident response

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

• Expertise in Cisco ASA, Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), ISE, and VPN technologies

• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)

• Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint security, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)

• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level security solutions

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
