GCP Data Engineer; Lead

Overview

GCP Data Engineer (Lead) with skills Data Engineering, Big Data, Cloud Fundamentals, Azure Analysis Services, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Functions for location Any Infogain Base Location (Noida, Gurugram, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune)

• Design Cloud Spanner schemas, primary keys, and indexing strategies
• Map Azure Cosmos DB JSON documents into Cloud Spanner tables with JSON columns
• Migrate relational data from DB2 into Cloud Spanner table structures
• Lead wave-based data migration (3–5 waves), including bulk load and incremental sync
• Implement incremental data synchronization using Cosmos DB change feed and DB2 CDC or timestamp-based extraction
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks
• Tune queries and indexes to meet performance targets

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Spanner or distributed relational databases
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills
• Experience migrating data from No
  
  SQL and relational databases
• Experience with JSON and semi-structured data

• Experience with large-scale data migrations
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT and CDC tooling
• Experience supporting performance testing and tuning
