Overview
Network Engineer (Associate) with skills Network Engineer, Network Operations, Cloud Network Administrator for location Any Infogain Base Location (Noida, Gurugram, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune)
We are seeking a Technical Contributor to support mission-critical initiatives within a large-scale Compute Control Plane ecosystem for a leading global cloud provider.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal Engineering Owners (EOs) and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, distributed cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver hands-on contributions across software development, testing, operations, compliance, migrations, and documentation
- Support KTLO (Keep the Lights On) activities, including ticket resolution, incident follow-up, and long-tail issue remediation
- Implement scoped feature enhancements, fixes, migrations, and deprecations
- Contribute to regression testing, automation, CI pipeline improvements, and quality-gate development
- Work within proprietary internal tooling (e.g., monorepo-based development systems, issue trackers, workflow automation tools, internal operational dashboards)
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across US, EMEA, and APAC regions
- Follow strict security, access control, and compliance procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and technical artifacts
- Participate in planning cycles, reviews, and execution checkpoints hosted by Engineering Owners or Program Management
- Experience working in large-scale production environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities, including comfort operating with partial or evolving requirements
- Ability to quickly ramp up on new technical stacks and product domains
- Focus on delivering sustainable, long-term solutions rather than one-off fixes
- Prior experience working within monorepo-based development environments
- Familiarity with cloud compute concepts, distributed infrastructure, and large-scale service architectures
- Strong proficiency in Java for backend and control-plane–oriented services
- Solid experience with SQL for querying, debugging, and validating data across large systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed service architectures
- Experience working in monorepo and CI/CD-driven environments
- Solid understanding of production reliability, including KTLO support, testing practices, and defect remediation
- Ability to manage migrations, deprecations, and cross-team technical dependencies
