With a culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, we are seeking an Integration Architect to join their team. This is a Senior level role that will act as the blueprint designer and technical leader for how their various software systems, applications, and data sources connect, communicate, and exchange data efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities Integration Strategy & ArchitectureDefine the enterprise integration strategy, roadmap, and guiding principles aligned with business and technology goals
Design scalable, high-performance, fault-tolerant integration solutions using API-first, event-driven, batch, and hybrid patterns
Establish non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, resiliency, throughput, and security
TECHNICAL STACK - REQUIRED- API gateways (Amazon API Gateway), service meshes (Istio, VPC Lattice), Queues (SQS, Amazon MQ-Rabbit MQ/Apache Active MQ), Amazon Event Bridge, Amazon Step Functions, Serverless Functions (AWS Lambda) and Streaming Platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
Define and enforce enterprise integration standards, best practices, and governance models
Ensure consistency, security, compliance, and quality across all integration initiatives
Review and approve integration designs, technical specifications, and architecture decisions
Technology LeadershipSelect and guide implementation of integration technologies including API gateways, middleware, messaging platforms, and cloud-native services
Provide hands-on technical leadership, design reviews, and mentorship to development teams
Partner closely with product owners, architects, developers, and stakeholders to align integration solutions with business needs
Delivery & OperationsTranslate complex business requirements into robust technical integration designs
Oversee integration testing efforts (unit, system, UAT) in partnership with QA teams
Monitor integration health and performance; lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and optimization efforts
Ensure observability, telemetry, and monitoring strategies are built into all integration solutions
Documentation & EnablementProduce and maintain comprehensive architecture artifacts, data flows, interface specifications, and operational documentation
Clearly communicate architectural decisions and integration strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications7+ years of experience in integration architecture, design, and development
Strong expertise in REST, Graph
QL, event-driven APIs, and microservices architectures
Hands-on experience designing secure integrations using authentication and authorization frameworks
Proven experience integrating APIs across diverse systems, platforms, and data sources
Strong understanding of integration patterns (event-driven, pub/sub, hub-and-spoke, microservices)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation) and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with cloud-native deployment models and Dev Ops practices
Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Technical RequirementsExperience with AWS integration services including Amazon API Gateway, SQS, Amazon MQ (Rabbit
MQ / Active
MQ), Event Bridge, Step Functions, Lambda, Kafka, and Kinesis
Experience with service meshes (Istio, VPC Lattice) and API management platforms
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Open Telemetry)
Working knowledge of SQL, No

Understanding of financial services and regulated environments
