IBM iSeries DB2 SQL Developer
Client: EOG
Location: Houston, TX (onsite position)
Duration: 12+ months with multi-year extensions
Rate: $75/hr on C2C
- Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iSeries platform, utilizing SQL stored procedures, modernizing tables, performance tuning, and working with large transactional tables.
- Expert level experience with SQL stored procedures implementing business logic on the IBM iSeries platform.
- Experience with coding custom implementations for HFM, Oracle Financials, etc.
- Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in DB2.
- Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, JSON.
- Exposure to Python, microservices, VS Code IDE development.
- Git source control and integration.
- Familiarity with IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS, etc.
