Senior Platform AI Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a fast-growing team building a next-generation AI platform to empower enterprise-wide development of AI applications is looking for a strong Senior Platform AI Engineer contributor with deep expertise in data science, AI platform engineering, and application development.

• Define and implement core components of an enterprise AI platform
• Build initial applications (chatbots, copilots, AI-enabled tools) to showcase platform capabilities
• Integrate with identity and security systems using tools like Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams, mentor junior members, and help scale the team

• Strong Python development skills
• Experience with AI/ML platforms or enterprise-scale data systems
• Familiarity with enterprise AI tools and secure system design
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams

• Experience building AI platforms from scratch
• Knowledge of cloud-based AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS AI/ML)
• Background in large enterprise or consulting environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
