Database Administrator

Design and develop end-to-end ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. Implement copy activities, data flows, error handling, dynamic pipelines, and parameterize executions. Work with Delta logic, control tables, and orchestrate data movement across multiple systems.

Integrate diverse data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, flat files, and APIs into Azure Data Lake using secure, scalable solutions. Work extensively with Azure services like Data Lake Storage, Key Vault, Azure Synapse, and Logic Apps

Perform unit testing, end-to-end validation, and implement restartability in ETL frameworks. Provide L1, L2, and L3 production support and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve failures and bottlenecks. Monitor ADF pipeline executions, configure alerts, and ensure uptime compliance during hypercare.

Develop analytical reports and dashboards in Power BI using DAX and custom visuals. Connect to Azure SQL, model datasets, create slicers, bookmarks, and share dashboards with users. Optimize performance with indexing and summarize data loads for reporting.

Collaborate with product owners and analysts to gather requirements, estimate efforts, and define user stories. Document ETL processes, data dictionaries, and transition support guides. Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain project updates in Azure Dev Ops.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• SQL expertise and query optimization
• Database design and architecture
• Backup and recovery, performance tuning
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
• MySQL Database Administrator (DBA)

• Typically 2-5 years of experience in database administration
