Position: Technical Account Manager (Houston)

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) – 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar position – to join our growing North America team and support the application, adoption, and integration of our cutting‑edge geoscience software solutions. This role is ideal for a geoscientist who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, clients, and commercial teams, and who wants to develop strong exposure to technical sales, pre‑sales, and client enablement in a global software company.

The Technical Account Manager is a key technical interface between Eliis and its clients in North America. You will proactively seek new business opportunities, support sales and business development efforts through technical expertise, ensure successful onboarding and adoption of Paleo Scan™, and contribute to product positioning through close interaction with clients, R&D, and commercial teams.

Your Responsibilities Technical Account Management & Pre‑Sales
  • Support Vice President in technical sales and pre‑sales activities to help secure new business.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for prospects and clients across the North America region.
  • Deliver software demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof‑of‑value workflows.
  • Ensure pre‑sales activities with both direct clients and resellers.
Data Analysis & Interpretation
  • Assist in the analysis of geological and geophysical datasets.
  • Support subsurface interpretation workflows and deliver actionable insights to clients using Paleo Scan™.
Client Enablement & Adoption
  • Help onboard new clients and support existing users to maximize the value of Paleo Scan™.
  • Increase customer adoption by planning and delivering technical support, training, and follow‑up sessions.
  • Understand how clients use Paleo Scan™ across different projects and industries.
  • Analyze competitive solutions and understand their positioning relative to Paleo Scan™.
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate Paleo Scan™’s added value versus competing tools.
  • Serve as a technical link between customer needs, Eliis’ product vision, the R&D roadmap, and commercial execution.
  • Participate in the internal evaluation of projects delivered by technical teams worldwide.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and collaboration across regions to support global growth.
Marketing & Visibility
  • Participate in technical promotions, industry events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute technical insights for internal communication and future value positioning toward other clients.
What You Bring Experience & Education
  • A degree in Geoscience, Geophysics, or a related field (BSc or MSc)
  • Familiarity with geological or seismic interpretation concepts
  • Interest in geoscience software and digital workflows
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Paleo Scan or other seismic interpretation tools
  • Internship or academic project experience in oil & gas or energy industries
