IT Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data, providing actionable insights, and supporting decision-making processes. The candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure data integrity and optimize the use of data‑driven technologies, including Power BI and Azure Data Lake. The IT Data Analyst reports to the IT Director, Enterprise Applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake for data storage and management.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience transforming datasets using Azure Databricks.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Experience with data governance and data quality principles.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and self‑motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience as a business analyst is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for various stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Manage and maintain data integrity within Azure Data Lake.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration tasks.
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data policies.
• Provide training and support to end‑users on data tools and technologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management.
