Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data, providing actionable insights, and supporting decision-making processes. The candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure data integrity and optimize the use of data-driven technologies, including Power BI and Azure Data Lake. The IT Data Analyst reports to the IT Director, Enterprise Applications.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience working with Azure Data Lake for data storage and management.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Experience transforming datasets using Azure Databricks.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality principles.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.

  • Experience as a business analyst is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for various stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Manage and maintain data integrity within Azure Data Lake.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration tasks.
  • Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data policies.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and technologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management.
