Senior IT Project Manager

Onset Technologies is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager Consultant to lead high-impact IT initiatives supporting a private equity‑backed carve‑out. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, vendor oversight, and system integration activities, ensuring independent IT and operational capabilities are established ahead of TSA (Transition Services Agreement) deadlines. The role requires a seasoned IT project manager with enterprise‑level experience, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to lead cross‑functional, matrixed teams across multiple locations including California, Texas, and Mexico.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large capital IT initiatives supporting carve‑out and TSA timelines.
• Manage vendor selection and oversight, including RFPs, RFQs, sole‑source contracts, and system integrators.
• Oversee external vendors and system integrators to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure projects deliver against aggressive carve‑out deadlines and TSA‑driven requirements.
• Lead cross‑functional, matrixed project teams and coordinate across geographically dispersed teams.
• Maintain executive‑level visibility into project status, risks, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure IT solutions meet operational requirements.

• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience, with enterprise‑level project delivery expertise.
• Proven experience managing large capital IT projects ($1M+), particularly SAP implementations and integrations.
• Strong vendor management experience, including oversight of system integrators and managed service providers (MSPs).
• Knowledge of SAP modules and tools such as SAP Success Factors, Fieldglass, Concur, and/or ADP.
• Experience working with cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in carve‑outs, TSAs, or standalone readiness projects.
• Background in private equity‑backed transformations.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Prior experience managing multi‑location IT rollouts in complex environments.
