Summary
Onset Technologies is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager Consultant to lead high-impact IT initiatives supporting a private equity–backed carve‑out. The consultant will be responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery, vendor oversight, and system integration activities, ensuring independent IT and operational capabilities are established ahead of TSA (Transition Services Agreement) deadlines. The role requires a seasoned IT project manager with enterprise‑level experience, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to lead cross‑functional, matrixed teams across multiple locations including California, Texas, and Mexico.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large capital IT initiatives supporting carve‑out and TSA timelines.
- Manage vendor selection and oversight, including RFPs, RFQs, sole‑source contracts, and system integrators.
- Oversee external vendors and system integrators to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure projects deliver against aggressive carve‑out deadlines and TSA‑driven requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional, matrixed project teams and coordinate across geographically dispersed teams.
- Maintain executive‑level visibility into project status, risks, and financial performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure IT solutions meet operational requirements.
- 10+ years of IT Project Management experience, with enterprise‑level project delivery expertise.
- Proven experience managing large capital IT projects ($1M+), particularly SAP implementations and integrations.
- Strong vendor management experience, including oversight of system integrators and managed service providers (MSPs).
- Knowledge of SAP modules and tools such as SAP Success Factors, Fieldglass, Concur, and/or ADP.
- Experience working with cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in carve‑outs, TSAs, or standalone readiness projects.
- Background in private equity–backed transformations.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Prior experience managing multi‑location IT rollouts in complex environments.
