Job Summary
  • The purpose of this position is to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems, answer queries on complex issues and offer advice to solve them.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Key Responsibilities

    Application Support & Testing

    • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new applications and system updates
    • Create and execute test scripts and scenarios
    • Document test results and coordinate with development teams on issue resolution
    • Support application deployments and post-implementation validation
    • Perform regression testing when required
  • Technical Troubleshooting

    • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues using SQL queries
    • Analyze application logs and database records to identify root causes
    • Escalate issues to appropriate teams with detailed technical documentation
    • Provide Level 2/3 support for business-critical applications
  • Database Support

    • Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting
    • Assist with data integrity checks and reporting discrepancies
    • Support database-related user requests within established protocols
    • Collaborate with database administrators on performance issues
  • Service Desk Operations

    • Handle escalated tickets requiring technical expertise
    • Maintain detailed documentation of issues and resolutions
    • Create knowledge base articles for common technical problems
  • • Mentor junior help desk staff on complex issues

  • Participate in incident management and problem resolution processes
  • Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Work closely with business users to understand application requirements
    • Coordinate with development teams on bug fixes and enhancements

      Participate in change management processes
    • Provide technical input on system improvements
Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT required.

Required Qualifications
  • UAT

    Experience:

    2+ years of hands-on User Acceptance Testing experience
  • SQL Proficiency: Intermediate SQL skills including SELECT, JOIN, WHERE clauses, and basic functions
  • Application Support: Experience supporting business applications (ERP, CRM, or similar)
  • Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational database concepts
  • ITIL Framework: Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
