Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Drive full lifecycle delivery of retail technology projects, including POS upgrades, e-commerce enhancements, ERP implementations, CRM/loyalty systems, and store technology rollouts.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, infrastructure, and business units.
• Manage Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project requirements.
• Partner with store operations to understand workflows, identify pain points, and evaluate operational impacts.
• Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, finance, marketing, and customer experience teams to align technology with business goals.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, SaaS providers, and implementation partners.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct current and future state process mapping to support transformation initiatives.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and operational impact.
• Risk, Compliance & Go-Live
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, data privacy, and security standards.
• Oversee UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
• Coordinate cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare support.
• Lead pilots, store rollouts, and change management activities.
• Ensure solutions support omnichannel capabilities such as BOPIS, curbside pickup, ship-from-store, and real-time inventory visibility.

• 6+ years of IT project management experience, including at least 2 years within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of retail platforms such as POS, OMS, WMS, ERP, CRM, and e-commerce systems.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
