Satellite Positioning Support Specialist
Responsible for interacting directly with Satellite Positioning clients to enable subscription services, generate client invoices and process payments during a twelve (12) hour shift. Additionally, provide remote technical support on OmniSTAR hardware and Satellite Positioning solutions to clients.
Fugro will not provide work authorization and/or sponsorship, nor relocation assistance for this opportunity.
Job Responsibilities- Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
- Consult and coordinate with Product Manager, Controller, and other relevant stakeholders in Satellite Positioning Service Line on all levels.
- Follow directives from shared services and operational activities in the Service Line.
- Enable subscriptions as required by Satellite Positioning clients.
- Provide remote technical support on OmniSTAR hardware and solutions.
- Coordinate and support sales processes and sale contracts.
- Interact directly with clients to provide subscriptions and support.
- Monitor and report on sales activities.
- Adhere to Fugro policies and procedures.
- Ensure three‑way match of Subscriptions / Invoicing / Payment.
- Close out open client support requests.
- Achieve key performance indicators.
- Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required;
Secondary Vocational Education is preferred. - One year of working experience required; more experience in GPS/GNSS satellite positioning is preferred.
- Flexibility to work in a twelve‑hour shift system.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
