Cybersecurity – Texas Public Sector; Talent Network | Contingent

Lozort Federal is building a Texas-based Cybersecurity talent network to support public sector technology environments across state and local government entities.

We are seeking experienced cybersecurity professionals to join our pre-vetted bench for upcoming service engagements. Candidates selected for our network will be considered for placement under future Statements of Work (SOWs) supporting enterprise and agency-level security environments.

This is a contingent opportunity aligned to public sector delivery models.

We are seeking professionals across the following cybersecurity domains:

• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
• Log analysis & event correlation
• Forensic support & documentation

• Vulnerability scanning & remediation tracking
• Risk prioritization & reporting

• Security documentation & policy support
• Control assessments & gap analysis

• User provisioning & deprovisioning
• Privileged access monitoring

• 3+ years of experience in one or more cybersecurity domains
• Understanding of security principles and enterprise risk management
• Experience working within structured IT environments
• Familiarity with ticketing or workflow systems
• Ability to support hybrid or on-site environments within Texas
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States

• CISSP, SSCP, or related certifications
• Cloud security certifications (Azure/AWS)

• Roles may be remote, hybrid, or on-site depending on project requirements
• Work locations may include Texas state agencies and local government entities
• Positions may require background checks based on project scope

All roles are contingent upon project award and customer demand.
