Role: Desktop Support Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $50,000 – $60,000 / year

Summary
The Desktop Support Analyst provides advanced technical support for employees, handling complex issues related to hardware, software, user access, and workstation environments. This role supports daily operations, assists with technology setup and maintenance, and ensures a reliable and secure user experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral issues
- Configure, deploy, and upgrade computers and related equipment
- Support audiovisual and conference room technology
- Assist users through phone, ticketing system, email, messaging, and in‑person requests
- Provide user account and access administration using standard enterprise tools
- Install, update, and troubleshoot software while maintaining documentation
- Assist technical teams with desktop‑level issues involving connectivity, hardware, and security tools
- Handle general business application support
- Maintain confidentiality and follow security practices
- Stay current with technology through training and development
- Support team initiatives and contribute to overall IT operations
- Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and alignment with organizational expectations
Qualifications
- Hands‑on IT support experience
- Strong understanding of desktop hardware, printers, AV equipment, and common office software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Advanced troubleshooting ability with a professional, patient approach
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
- Basic familiarity with Windows server environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile device support (iOS/Android)
- Experience with scripting or automation tools is a plus
