Position

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technologist II, Client Services, to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing various computer systems and applications, both locally and remotely.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Technical Support:
    Provide local and remote end-user support for all computer-related applications, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • System Configuration:
    Set up, image, configure, inventory, and maintain company desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and conference room equipment.
  • Inventory:
    Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
  • Ticket Management:
    Monitor and manage the ticketing system to ensure all customer inquiries and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Executive Support:
    Prioritize and provide support to executive leadership within the organization, ensuring their technical needs are met promptly and discreetly.
  • Efficiency Improvement:
    Help business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency, including system integration, process automation, and user training.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, inventory and follow-up actions in the help desk system.
  • Training and Guidance:
    Conduct training sessions and create documentation to assist users in understanding and effectively using computer applications.
  • Proactive Maintenance:
    Perform regular maintenance and updates to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance of systems and applications.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and knowledge sharing.
  • Advocate:
    Adhere to, and draft IT policies.
  • Represent: IT team and the business as the point of contact for IT projects.
  • Travel:
    Occasional travel to other Oceaneering sites.
  • Flexible:
    Occasional weekend and/or after-hours on call support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum 4 years of experience in maintaining computer hardware/software and working in a customer-oriented service environment, including Computer imaging,
  • Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Azure, IT ticketing system, Experience with maintaining in an Asset Management system, printer services, videoconferencing equipment and applications.
  • Valid U.S. drivers’ license.
  • Ability to apply for and obtain TWIC card.
Desried
  • A+ certification.
  • HDI Support Center Analyst or ITIL certification.
  • Have knowledge of: MESD, People Soft, Enovia, AutoCAD, Solid Works.
