Job Description
Role is open to anywhere in the East or Central time zone. Preferred locations include Detroit, Dallas, Houston, New York, New Jersey, and other East or Central time zone cities.
LocationPreference for Detroit, Dallas, Houston, or North‑East locations such as NY, NJ. The role can be based anywhere in the East or Central time zone.
Responsibilities- The SAP Sales/Business Expansion Leader will drive SAP opportunities from qualification, solutioning, client presentations through negotiation and closure.
- At least 7–10 years of SAP solutioning and services selling; proven experience in shaping and solutioning a mix of SAP deals (S/4
HANA, Cloud migration, AMS, testing, LOB solutions such as Ariba, IBP, S/4
HANA, SF). - Industry alignment in Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing sectors.
- In‑depth experience in SAP’s product ecosystem and industry‑specific solutions.
- Proven track record in SAP OB/TCV quota‑carrying roles with similar sized system integrators.
- Hands‑on sales leader role focusing on key accounts and partnering with internal sector/market unit teams.
- Solid storyboarding, storytelling, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
- Serve as single point of contact for opportunity qualification, building of end‑to‑end solution, pricing, and consultative SAP selling initiatives.
- Generate and execute opportunities, interacting with prospective customers through executive meetings, SAP discovery conversations, SAP solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow‑up discussions.
- Ability to hunt new and farm existing accounts for SAP opportunities.
- Experience engaging with senior leaders (CxO level) on various solutions and business problems – listening, analyzing client requirements, creating, and presenting a compelling SAP solution and business value message.
- In‑depth understanding of SAP’s current and roadmap product capabilities, industry‑specific solutions.
- Track record of successfully partnering with multiple teams (pre‑sales, delivery, vertical, financial, and legal).
- 10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years as an SAP Sales or Presales practitioner.
- Annual revenue targets of $12–16 million.
- Understanding of the latest SAP offerings – Rise, S/4
HANA, AMS, AD, BTP, LOB solutions (Ariba, SFSF, IBP). - Hands‑on experience in solutioning and presenting various SAP services – Transformation, AMS, Cloud Migration.
- Understanding of the SAP business in at least one of the sectors Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and the nuances of that sector, especially around cloud migration.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with offshore presales and solution teams.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 annually. Final compensation depends on factors such as geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skill set, and relevant experience. The role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental coverage, disability insurance, paid time off (sick leave, vacation, holiday leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options.
