This position is accountable for the definition, design, governance, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise system solutions, with a primary focus on SAP-enabled finance platforms. The role supports and enhances processes across FICO, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, sales and use tax, and royalty distribution. A strong customer-oriented mindset and solid business acumen are required to ensure business requirements are well defined, effectively communicated, and delivered in line with expectations.
The Business Analyst develops and sustains strong working relationships with business stakeholders by providing insight, direction, and recommendations to promote shared understanding and alignment with organizational objectives. This role partners closely with IT teams to confirm solution viability, ensure clarity of requirements, and support the successful delivery of best-practice solutions.
This role requires effective communication and time management while providing continuous support throughout the solution lifecycle. Responsibilities include creating business cases, documenting requirements and processes, developing test scenarios, and contributing to training materials. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities and thrives in a collaborative, high-performing team environment that values new ideas, expanded responsibility, and continuous development.
Position Requirements- 7–10 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role supporting and/or delivering SAP solutions
- Required experience with SAP S/4
HANA; SAP S/4
HANA PCE experience preferred - Strong SAP FICO experience including AP, AR, Tax, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and banking functions
- Experience with SAP reporting and consolidation; SAC Group Reporting preferred
- Familiarity with SAP Electronic Data Interchange (EDI);
Winshuttle scripting experience is a plus - Exposure to SAP PRA is desirable
- Working knowledge of cost center accounting, primary and secondary cost elements, activity allocations, and CO actuals
- Experience configuring, testing, and supporting house banks and SAP-to-bank integrations, including NACHA files, check formats, EDI, and BAI file formats
- Controlling experience across Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Internal Orders
- Hands-on experience supporting sales and use tax determination and reporting tools (e.g., Sovos GTD)
- Experience supporting AP invoice automation and expense management solutions
- Familiarity with Worldpay B2B (Paymetric) or comparable electronic payment platforms
- Experience supporting document management systems for AP invoicing and sales and use tax processes
- Proven experience delivering initiatives in an Agile environment
- Experience in the industrial manufacturing sector required; oil and gas experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and decision-making ability
- Ability to remain current on existing and emerging technologies and assess their operational impact
- Results-focused with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, and collaborative environment
