Management Controls is headquartered in Houston, Texas. This role will work out of the Houston office on a hybrid schedule. This position is not open to sponsorship.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provision and manage user accounts, licenses, and access in Azure AD / Entra Microsoft 365
- Configure and deploy laptops, hardware, and software for global staff
- Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance, and policy enforcement
- Monitor SaaS platform alerts and elevate production issues appropriately
- Support Azure infrastructure components including virtual machines, storage, backups, and resource configurations
- Assist in Azure Cost Management activities including monitoring consumption, reviewing cost reports, and identifying optimization opportunities
- Maintain alignment of user access with HR records and organizational updates
- Manage and optimize security groups, distribution lists, and role-based access controls
- Conduct periodic access reviews following least-privilege security principles
- Participate in compliance initiatives including SOC 2, NIST-aligned controls, and GDPR operational requirements
- Assist with audit preparation, evidence collection, and documentation of internal controls
- Support documentation, runbooks, and operational standards
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Dev Ops, Security, Development, and Support teams
- Participate in limited rotational or on-call support

You will gain hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, cost management, identity governance, SaaS platform operations, and enterprise compliance frameworks, including SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR.
