Join our dynamic team as a Contract Network Engineer to lead a critical enterprise-wide security initiative. This is a high-impact, 3–6 month engagement focused on the end-to-end deployment of secure wired network access across a large-scale, multi-site environment. We are seeking a specialist who combines deep routing and switching fundamentals with extensive, hands-on experience in Cisco Network Access Control (NAC) to ensure a seamless and secure transition for all wired endpoints.
Responsibilities- Lead the full lifecycle of Cisco ISE wired NAC deployment, including design, build, piloting, and phased production rollout across all branch locations.
- Develop and standardize access switch configurations (IOS/IOS-XE), integrating key security features like 802.1X, MAB, and downloadable ACLs.
- Integrate the NAC solution with external identity sources, including Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and AAA services (RADIUS/TACACS+).
- 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise-level routing and switching technologies (e.g., OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP, LACP).
- Demonstrable experience implementing Cisco ISE wired access control (802.1X/MAB/EAP-TLS) in a production environment of 500+ users.
- Strong practical knowledge of RADIUS/AAA, campus security controls (DHCP snooping, DAI), and endpoint onboarding troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in creating high-quality technical documentation, including Methods of Procedure (MOPs), runbooks, and rollback plans.
