Join our diverse and global Cyber Threat and Incident Response team. The mission of the team is to enable Macquarie to operate safely within a challenging digital environment by detecting, investigating and responding to advanced cyber threats. In this crucial role, you will enhance our team’s capabilities to detect, investigate and contain cyber threats.
What role will you play?You will manage platforms and pipelines supporting Cyber Threat and Incident Response. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining tools and services that provide high‑quality security telemetry. You will work closely with threat detection engineers, incident responders, and threat intelligence analysts to ensure data is received and meets evolving security needs. You will collaborate across diverse data sources and integrate data into our analytics platforms.
WhatYou Offer
- 5-10 years experience developing, integrating, configuring, and managing SIEM or UEBA platforms, and addressing system performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability challenges.
- Experience developing and deploying infrastructure‑as‑code solutions to automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that integrate security controls and support continuous delivery of detection and response capabilities, with scripting/programming languages such as Python.
- Ability to plan and deliver to challenging timelines while managing stakeholder expectations; experience working in an Agile environment is desirable.
- Excellent listening and influencing skills, and flexibility to develop strong relationships with a complex set of global stakeholders.
