Pay: $27.50/Hour

We are seeking a Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist to join our clients IT team in Northeast Houston. This is an open-ended contract role with the possibility of becoming permanent. The ideal candidate will provide 2nd level technical assistance to end users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues.

• Provide frontline support for Windows desktop environments and common productivity applications.
• Troubleshoot user issues related to logon, profiles, printers, and network connectivity.
• Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as password resets, account unlocks, and group membership updates.
• Manage and resolve tickets through a ticketing system (e.g., Service Now, Jira, Zendesk) while meeting SLAs.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications (Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive, Outlook) including mailbox permissions and configuration issues.
• Install and update software, perform basic endpoint maintenance (patching, antivirus checks).
• Document resolutions and contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with Tier 2/3 teams for escalations and maintain ownership until closure.

• Experience with Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and support.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and support tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
