Business Development Lead – Robotics & Industrial AI

Hybrid – 2 days a week in the Houston office.

Can reside in Dallas or Houston.

Compensation:

Base: $75,000 – $100,000

Performance Bonus: $40,000 – $60,000+ (pilot-driven milestones)

We are building an industrial AI platform focused on inspection automation in data centers and mechanical facilities.

This is not a support role.

This is not quota-chasing SaaS sales.

This is an execution-heavy role focused on securing real-world pilots in industrial environments.

You will work directly with the founder and own U.S. pilot development for our robotics initiative.

Healthcare AI (Mirror Mate) will be a secondary focus.

• Identify and prioritize target facilities
• Run outbound and secure discovery meetings
• Move prospects toward LOIs and pilot deployments
• Help structure pilot proposals and ROI framing
• Prepare and attend site meetings
• Drive disciplined weekly pipeline reporting
• Actively refine messaging based on field feedback

You are expected to generate real traction — not just research.

• Provide structured direction to India-based BD team
• Improve targeting, scripts, and CRM rigor
• Hold weekly accountability cadence

• Support pilot discussions with labs and telehealth partners
• Assist with U.S.
  
  -based enterprise conversations
• Track structured pipeline metrics

• 2–6 years B2B business development experience
• Comfortable engaging operations leaders and technical stakeholders
• Able to explain technical systems clearly without over promising
• Highly disciplined with CRM and follow-up
• Curious about industrial AI, robotics, and automation
• Self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguity

This role requires initiative, resilience, and structured thinking.

You must be comfortable:

• Discussing APIs, system architecture, and deployment logic
• Speaking with engineers and operations leaders confidently

Coding is not required. Technical literacy is.
