We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support analytics, reporting, and operational intelligence. This role will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making across engineering, product, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL
- Ingest structured and unstructured data from APIs, logs, and third-party systems
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and maintainability
Data Warehousing & Modeling
- Build and maintain data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, or Big Query)
- Design clean, scalable data models to support analytics and reporting use cases
- Improve query performance through partitioning, indexing, and optimization
- Develop and manage data systems on cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Use services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Airflow for orchestration
- Ensure system scalability, availability, and cost efficiency
Data Quality & Governance
- Implement data validation, monitoring, and anomaly detection frameworks
- Enforce schema standards and ensure data consistency across systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and standardize business KPIs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with ETL pipelines and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis)
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Exposure to telecom, VoIP, or SaaS data environments is a plus
