Data Analyst – Business Insights & SQL

iDfour is looking for a Data Analyst to work with large sales and marketing datasets and turn that data into meaningful insights that drive marketing, business intelligence, and operational decisions.

This role focuses on exploratory data analysis, identifying business trends, and communicating insights to stakeholders and clients.

This is a hands-on, analysis-focused role where you’ll spend your time exploring data, uncovering trends, and communicating insights through clear visuals and storytelling.

This role is not primarily a data engineering, ETL development, database administration, or reporting operations role.

• Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to uncover trends and insights
• Write queries to retrieve, join, and summarize data for analysis
• Create clear visualizations (charts, graphs, presentations) to communicate findings
• Partner with internal and client teams to support data-driven decisions
• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Build and maintain recurring reports and identify discrepancies
• Contribute across project phases from analysis through presentation

• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis or similar roles
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong SQL skills for data retrieval, joins, aggregations, and analysis to answer business questions
• Experience working with large datasets
• Strong communication skills—ability to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences
• Experience presenting insights through charts, graphs, and slides
• Advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience. We value demonstrated analytical and SQL skills above specific degrees

• Experience with marketing or consumer data
• Python or basic programming experience
• Exposure to statistical analysis or predictive modeling
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

• Work with large, real-world datasets
• High ownership and visibility—your work directly impacts decisions
