Regular Full-Time Houston, TX

• Primary Directorate IT Help Desk support during normal JSC business hours, providing initial triage and routing of support tickets.
• Provide specialized desktop and end‑user IT support.
• Researching and providing guidance to the best technical solutions available from the Agency IT providers to meet Directorate end‑user requirements.
• Install specialized software and assist users with unified desktop office automation support in conjunction with I3P providers.
• Submit input support requests for Agency IT services into the appropriate Directorate/Agency/Center system and ensure support through closure of the requests.
• Maintain updates to specialized software.
• Assist users with unified desktop office automation support in conjunction with the IT Infrastructure Integration Program (I3P) providers.
• Track, maintain, and manage the inventory of all software and hardware assets.
• Facilitate the purchase of maintenance agreements and software license renewals for the directorate and report status of this activity.
• Identify, track, and update all HH&P flight and nonflight property and equipment in the NASA Equipment System.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
• 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience with the NASA Property System (N‑PROP).
