Network Architect

The Network Architect I is an early-career architecture role responsible for supporting the design, documentation, and implementation of enterprise network solutions under the direction of a Senior Network Architect. This role contributes to network modernization initiatives across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments, assisting with solution design, standards documentation, and technology evaluation while developing architectural expertise.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

* 4-6 years of enterprise network engineering experience.

* Strong understanding of routing, switching, and networking fundamentals.

* CCIE Required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Exposure to SD-WAN, cloud networking (Azure/AWS), and data center networking.

* Experience with Cisco enterprise platforms.

* Exposure to Cisco ISE or Aruba Clear Pass.

Architecture & Design Support

* Assist in developing network architecture designs across campus, data center, WAN, and cloud environments.

* Contribute to reference architectures, standards, and design documentation.

* Support architecture reviews led by senior architects.

Engineering & Project Support

* Collaborate with engineering teams during implementation and delivery phases.

* Assist with solution designs for network refresh, cloud connectivity, and NAC initiatives.

* Contribute to low-level designs under architectural guidance.

Security & Reliability

* Support secure and resilient network designs including segmentation and access control.

* Assist with Network Access Control solutions including Cisco ISE and Aruba Clear Pass.

Modern Networking & Development

* Participate in automation, cloud networking, and modernization initiatives

* Maintain awareness of emerging networking technologies.
