Full-Time - Salary: $56,966 to $69,472 per year
Work closely with the Compliance Manager to provide technical and organizational leadership for the Head Start program’s database environment.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Office user (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills that include hands-on use of a network system and various software applications
- Strong coordination skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solid understanding of databases and data mining
- Strong experience in data collection, data input, database maintenance, and data analysis
- Experience in staff training preferred
- Model HCDE and Head Start’s mission, vision, and values.
- Develop and coordinate relevant report design, production, distribution, storage, and maintenance program.
- Manage all data projects and prepare required data reports in a timely manner, including but not limited to the annual Program Information Report (PIR), the Annual Report, the Monthly Performance Report, and other reports as requested.
- Create reports and products based on reporting needs of the programs.
- Facilitate communication between Head Start and other database administrators and developers.
- Provide consistent customer service support to center-based staff, Coordinators, and Data Compliance Specialists.
- Provide database training and orientation, technical assistance, and database support to program users.
- Serve as the database administrator for the program’s main data collection program by coordinating the development and maintenance of the system.
- Coordinate relevant report design, production, distribution and storage of data for the Head Start program.
- Attend meetings with appropriate Head Start staff related to the use of the database.
- Maintain data confidentiality and data integrity.
