Technology Consulting Oil & Gas - Land & Division Order (L&DO)_Manager

The opportunity

EY Technology Consulting applies technology, data, and ecosystems to unlock long‑term value for Energy clients. As an L&DO Manager, you will lead Land and Division Order transformation work streams or small engagements-owning delivery outcomes, managing client stakeholders, and developing teams-while driving improvements across Land Administration, ownership accuracy, royalty distribution, and enabling technology platforms.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, you will:

* Lead Land and Division Order work streams across the delivery lifecycle, including discovery, design oversight, build coordination, testing support, cutover, and stabilization

* Translate complex Land and Division Order requirements into implementable scope, sequencing, and acceptance criteria

* Provide day‑to‑day leadership on delivery governance, milestones, risks, and dependencies

* Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing clear communication and credible recommendations

* Oversee configuration, testing, and integration approaches for Land and Division Order platforms (experience with QLS and/or SAP preferred)

* Direct data conversion and reconciliation strategies to support accurate ownership and royalty outcomes

* Ensure reporting and control requirements are addressed across ownership, royalties, suspense, and operational metrics

* Coach and develop teams, ensuring high‑quality delivery and professional growth

* Support practice development through reusable approaches and solution enablement

Skills and attributes for success

* Deep domain expertise in Oil & Gas Land Administration and Division Order

* Demonstrated experience leading complex, technology‑enabled initiatives

* Strong stakeholder management and executive‑ready communication skills

* Ability to balance delivery, people leadership, and client management

To qualify for the role, you must have

* 7-12+ years of Oil & Gas experience with significant focus on Land Administration and Division Order

* Experience leading system implementations, optimization efforts, data conversion programs, or operating model changes

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Ideally, you'll also have

* Experience with Quorum Land System (QLS) and/or SAP in upstream contexts

* Prior consulting experience leading multi‑track work streams across cross‑functional teams

* We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,000 to $267,400.

Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
