Global Market Foods is looking for a Help Desk Site Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a college student or graduate with a strong technical background in IT hardware and infrastructure and a passion for delivering excellent service to end-users. As the primary IT contact at our Texas site, you will be responsible for managing Level 1 help desk support and hardware deployments to ensure the office runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate will understand networks, printers, iPads, desktops, and laptops. You’ll manage service requests and tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.

• Provide Level 1 help desk support for all staff (warehouse and office), addressing issues related to hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Meraki networking equipment, ensuring reliable and secure network operations.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining cybersecurity protocols to protect company data and systems.
• Deploy and support warehouse staff with technical issues related to RF guns, Zebra printers, and any other equipment critical to office and warehouse operations.
• Manage and track IT service requests through a ticketing system, ensuring proper documentation, prioritization, and resolution within established SLAs.
• Assist in IT-related projects, including network upgrades, hardware rollouts, and other initiatives, from planning through execution.
• Work closely with other IT teams and departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in service delivery.

• Recent college graduates with strong academic backgrounds in IT or related fields are encouraged to apply.
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience (internships, co‑ops, or previous positions) in IT support, help desk, or network administration preferred.
• Familiarity with networking solutions is a plus.
• Experience supporting mobile devices (iPads, laptops, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Understanding basic cybersecurity practices and tools.

Days:
Monday 7‑11 am; other times throughout the week are negotiable.

Hours:

Start with a minimum of 16 hours a week.

Work location:

In office at 15151 West Drive, Houston, TX 77053.

Note:

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for system maintenance or project deployment.
