ETL Engineer

Position: JOB ID 10998: ETL Engineer
CEPTUA IT INC, a Houston, TX based IT Staffing and Recruiting Firm has multiple openings.

Job duties include:

* Gather and document requirements and develop functional specifications with a focus on ETL and Business Intelligence.

* Assist in Performing data analysis to source and target RDBMS tables information to implement the design of ETL mappings, transformations, workflows, scripts and commands to meet business requirements.

* Provide ETL design, architecture, and transition strategies that support the development and implementation of the enterprise data warehouse and associated data marts.

* Design and create logical/physical data models based on requirements.

* Develop ETL process with regard to design, development, testing, and migration to production environments.

* Write and execute ETL test scripts.

* Extract data from sources including Oracle, MS SQL Server, flat files, and XML files.

* Transform data and load into multiple targets like MS SQL Server and Oracle database and create flat files and XML files.

* Design and develop Business Intelligence reports based on ad-hoc and functional requirements.

* Participate in ETL and Business Intelligence knowledge transfers.

* Provide post-implementation support and resolve critical and high-priority tickets as per the SLAs.

Requirements:
