Overview

HR is partnering with a Fortune 500 Energy & Utilities organization seeking an Enterprise Architect II to support enterprise architecture, business architecture, and digital transformation initiatives.
This role is ideal for professionals with approximately 4–5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation, Business Analysis, or IT Consulting who want to expand their architecture expertise within a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities- Support business capability modeling, value stream mapping, and process architecture initiatives.
- Assist with enterprise architecture roadmaps, governance, and architecture reviews.
- Partner with business and technology teams to align business objectives with technology solutions.
- Support enterprise transformation, modernization, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Assist with technology evaluations, architecture assessments, and vendor reviews.
- Develop architecture artifacts, process models, and capability maps.
- Active TOGAF Certification (Required).
- 4–5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Business Analysis, Technology Strategy, Digital Transformation, or related fields.
- Experience with capability modeling, process architecture, value streams, or business-to-technology alignment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Ardoq, LeanIX, Avolution ABACUS, Bizzdesign, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Utility, energy, consulting, or large enterprise experience preferred.
- Must currently reside in the Greater Houston area.
- Must be available for an onsite interview in Houston, TX.
- Must be willing to work in a hybrid environment in Downtown Houston.
- No sponsorship available now or in the future.
- No third-party C2C arrangements unless the entity is owned by the candidate.
