Job Description
A client in the Houston, TX area is looking for a Sr. Service Now Architect to join their team. This person will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure Service Now solutions that align with business objectives and ITIL best practices. You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, transforming complex requirements into streamlined processes that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
On a daily basis, candidate will collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable Service Now solutions that align with business priorities. You will configure and develop platform capabilities, including workflows, integrations, and custom applications, while ensuring data integrity within the CMDB and overall platform health. You will proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize functionality and user experience.
In addition, you will provide technical guidance to development teams, support testing and quality assurance efforts, and maintain documentation to ensure consistency and compliance. You will also stay current on Service Now innovations and continuously identify opportunities to automate processes and improve service delivery. This individual must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting with multiple groups and individuals.
Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $65‑75/hr.

- 6+ years of Service Now hands on experience
- 3+ years of Architect/Lead level experience
- Hands on experience conducting configuration, scripting, and development across ITSM, ITIL, ITOM, GRC, and Service Mapping
- Strong experience with ITIL frameworks, automation, and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
- Hands on experience troubleshooting and supporting CSM (Case Management, portals, workflows, and integrations)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent Service Now Certifications
- Familiarity with Dev Ops and Agile concepts and methodologies
- Previous O&G industry experience
