Overview
In the Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) department, you'll lead enterprise-wide, high-impact projects that modernize infrastructure and optimize business operations. This is more than project management—it's an opportunity to drive strategic initiatives that transform healthcare delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead large-scale, cross-functional programs and projects with enterprise-wide impact.
- Motivate and guide project teams toward common goals.
- Coach and mentor TDI Project Managers and contract PM resources.
- Engage stakeholders to manage expectations and demonstrate project value.
- Collaborate with sponsors and key team members to ensure requirements are captured accurately.
- Apply best practices and methodologies for portfolio, resource, and project management.
- Develop and maintain project documents including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and status reports.
- Ensure timely updates in PMO platforms and customer approvals for system readiness.
- Oversee resource allocation and financial management to keep projects within budget.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate technical requirements, training plans, and transition to operations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate issues promptly.
- Provide regular updates and ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope and budget.
- Assess challenges, propose solutions, and drive process improvements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
- Adapt to changing environments and stakeholder needs.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
- Required:
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred:
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Required:
6 years of experience including five years in project management and five years in application and/or infrastructure services; or - Required:
4 years of experience including three years in project management and three years in application and/or infrastructure services, with a preferred degree. - May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
Business and infrastructure PM experience, renovation/construction technology background, 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional, large-scale and high-complex programs and/or projects that were implemented enterprise-wide, 5+ years of experience implementing technology, data and/or innovation solutions, and 5+ years of experience creating and delivering presentations for Executive Leadership. Experience with Service Now.
Work ScheduleThis position has a hybrid schedule (onsite and remote). Prefer local candidates in the Houston area.
Licenses and Certifications- Certified PMI - Project Management Professional (PMP)
