Cath Lab Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cath Labs Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of Cath Labs  equipment across multiple customer sites. This field-based position will focus on maximizing equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and system performance verification. The successful candidate will primarily support Cath labs and will serve as a trusted technical resource, providing expert support to clinical teams while ensuring all equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.

This role includes participation in an on-call rotation and offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading breast imaging technologies in a growing healthcare market.

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on the Cath labs
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related equipment issues
• Conduct system calibrations and performance testing to manufacturer standards
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
• Respond to service calls and minimize equipment downtime
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and system relocations as required

• Minimum 2+ years of field service experience supporting diagnostic imaging equipment
• Experience servicing Cath labs
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and software systems
• Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Imaging Technology, military training, or equivalent technical experience
• Valid driver s license and ability to travel throughout the Houston area
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment

• Experienced imaging service engineer with a strong background in mammography systems
• Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage service priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance practices
• Team player who can serve as a technical resource and mentor when required
