Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cath Labs Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of Cath Labs equipment across multiple customer sites. This field-based position will focus on maximizing equipment uptime through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and system performance verification. The successful candidate will primarily support Cath labs and will serve as a trusted technical resource, providing expert support to clinical teams while ensuring all equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
This role includes participation in an on-call rotation and offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading breast imaging technologies in a growing healthcare market.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on the Cath labs
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related equipment issues
- Conduct system calibrations and performance testing to manufacturer standards
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
- Respond to service calls and minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and system relocations as required
- Minimum 2+ years of field service experience supporting diagnostic imaging equipment
- Experience servicing Cath labs
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and software systems
- Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Imaging Technology, military training, or equivalent technical experience
- Valid driver s license and ability to travel throughout the Houston area
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
- Experienced imaging service engineer with a strong background in mammography systems
- Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage service priorities effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance practices
- Team player who can serve as a technical resource and mentor when required
