Position Specific Description

This IT Technology Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence through disciplined program execution, platform simplification, and effective portfolio management across technology platforms supporting the Commercial Solutions energy business. This role focuses on planning, prioritization, and delivery rigor to ensure initiatives are executed predictably and aligned to business outcomes.

You will lead cross‑functional technology programs, translating operational needs into structured roadmaps, managing interdependencies, and balancing near‑term priorities with long‑term modernization. A key responsibility is driving application and data platform consolidation, improving standardization, governance, and operational efficiency while maintaining overall platform reliability and stability.

This role requires strong
program and delivery management capabilities
, including scope control, financial oversight, risk and dependency management, and transparent status reporting. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors—software providers, system integrators, and consultants—to ensure high‑quality delivery, cost discipline, and accountability to outcomes.

• Provides leadership, influence, vision, and direction to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals
• Works with IT leaders to develop overall IT strategy in alignment with business strategy
• Oversees value stream by focusing on cost and risks of technology portfolio to meet business needs
• Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation
• Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments
• Oversees development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (Dev Ops)
• Attracts, develops and retains a high-performing and diverse team
• Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs
• Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives
• Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
