Silpa Companies, LLC is a national IT consulting and staffing firm empowering organizations across multiple industries through a blend of AI adoption, Master Data Management, Data and Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, Dev Sec Ops /Git Ops, Fractional C-Suite leadership, Digital Transformation, and M&A advisory for private equity and software ventures.
Role DescriptionSilpa Companies is seeking a versatile, production-proven Full Stack Engineer for contract, project-based engagements across our application development and data portfolio. You will be embedded in client delivery teams to design, build, test, and ship software across the full stack in cloud-native environments spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You will contribute across frontend, backend, API, database, and cloud infrastructure layers depending on project needs.
You are not a specialist who only touches one layer. You move fluidly across the stack, adapt quickly to existing codebases and new technology requirements, and write code that is clean, tested, and production-ready. Strong communicators who take ownership of their deliverables thrive in this role.
- Design, build, and maintain full stack web applications and services across frontend and backend layers.
- Develop responsive, accessible frontend interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Build scalable backend services and RESTful or Graph
QL APIs using Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or Go. - Integrate applications with third-party services, internal APIs, and data platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following established standards and design patterns.
- Deploy and manage applications across Azure, AWS, and GCP using cloud-native services and best practices.
- Build and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline configuration and automation using Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or equivalent tooling.
- Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, or Cloud Formation.
- Monitor application health, performance, and reliability using cloud-native observability tools.
- Design and manage relational and non-relational database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
- Build data integrations, ETL pipelines, and event-driven architectures as required by project scope.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects on platform integration points and data contracts.
- Apply data security best practices including encryption, access control, and secrets management.
- Build and integrate LLM-powered features into full stack applications including chat interfaces, AI assistants, semantic search, and automated reasoning workflows.
- Implement RAG architectures using vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search, pgvector) and LLM APIs.
- Integrate with LLM platforms and APIs including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.
- Apply prompt engineering best practices and implement input/output validation, content filtering, and rate limiting for AI-powered features.
- Follow secure AI development practices to protect against prompt injection, data leakage, and model misuse within application layers.
- 3 or more years of hands-on full stack development experience shipping production software.
- Proficiency in at least one frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue) and one backend language (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or Go).
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing cloud workloads across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation.
- Strong database skills across SQL and No
SQL platforms. - Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features using at least one LLM API or AI development framework.
- Awareness of AI security risks and best practices for safely embedding AI capabilities into production applications.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and communicate clearly with technical leads and client stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with sprint-based delivery cadences.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Candidates located in the Houston, Texas area will be given preference; however, remote practitioners will also be considered.
- Reliable, secure internet connection and ability to travel to client sites as required by engagement scope.
- Available to mobilize within a standard engagement window and maintain consistent availability throughout project duration.
