Role: AI Architect
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Mandate Skill: end to end architecture, design, and technical governance, AWS Bedrock Agent Core, agentic AI architecture, RAG framework, LLM orchestration.

Role summary:
The AI Architect is responsible for building and supporting end to end data ingestion and transformation pipelines feeding the IR data platform. The work involves integrating data from enterprise/legacy source systems into Snowflake, applying transformation and quality rules, and enabling downstream consumption (ODS / fast access layer / datamarts / reporting). The role also supports orchestration patterns (batch/CDC/streaming as applicable) and production readiness.

The AI Architect will lead the end to end architecture, design, and technical governance for migrating Client Agent Assist (AI Refinery) to AWS Bedrock Agent Core. This role is responsible for defining the agentic AI architecture, RAG framework, LLM orchestration, security patterns, and enterprise integrations to support real time call center AI use cases.
The architect will work closely with Client SMEs, security teams, and delivery leads to ensure a scalable, compliant, and production ready GenAI platform.

Required Skills & Experience
Core Skills
  • Bachelor s in CS/IS or equivalent.
  • 12 18 years overall experience, with 5+ years in AI/GenAI architecture
  • Snowflake (data ingestion/loading patterns, SQL-based transformations).
  • Informatica for integration and ETL execution patterns.
  • Spark / Hadoop ecosystem exposure for big data processing use cases.
  • Strong programming + SQL fundamentals (coding quality is explicitly emphasized)
Key Responsibilities
  • Own overall AI/GenAI solution architecture for Agent Assist on AWS Bedrock Agent Core
  • Define agentic architecture patterns (Orchestrator, Utility Agents, Super Agents)
  • Design RAG architecture including document ingestion, vector stores, retrieval, and re ranking
  • Architect real time audio and transcription pipelines (Genesys AWS Transcribe Bedrock)
  • Define LLM strategy (model selection, inference patterns, embeddings)
  • Lead integration architecture with:
    • Genesys (Web Socket, real time audio)
    • Corebridge APIs (Participant, Account, Call History)
    • Snowflake Secure Data Share
    • SharePoint (Service Instructions, Job Aids)
  • Establish security, compliance, and access patterns (Okta SSO, OAuth 2.0, SAML, TLS)
  • Define non functional requirements: scalability, latency, cost optimization, monitoring
  • Provide technical leadership to AI Leads, GenAI Engineers, and Dev Ops teams
  • Support discovery workshops, architecture walkthroughs, and client technical reviews
  • Contribute to effort estimation, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
  • Ensure alignment with insurance domain compliance and data privacy standards
