The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the effective operation and support of information technology services and infrastructure across the organization and supports staff through efficient IT solutions.
Responsibilities- Provide onsite support for laptops, tablets, and other personal computing devices
- Deliver technical advice and assistance to administrative office and clinical staff
- Assist with special events and activities as required
- Provide internal IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance, etc.) under the direction of IT leadership and engineers
- Implement, deploy, and operate information systems and technology solutions to meet business needs
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and setup of IT infrastructure at company facilities
- Stay informed on new and emerging technologies that provide measurable benefits to the organization
- Maintain minimum service-level agreements (SLAs) as defined by IT leadership within the ticketing system
- Configure and maintain telecommunications and audiovisual (AV) equipment
- Coordinate delivery of equipment for onboarding team members and retrieval of equipment from offboarded team members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Microsoft Teams administration
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Systems Administration and CompTIA A+ certification, with a minimum of two (2) years of IT support experience
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in lieu of experience and certifications
