Flow Cal & Detechtion Systems Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join an IT Production and Measurement Systems team as an IT Advisor. This role involves providing direct technical support for Flow Cal, Detechtion, and associated systems. The position requires ensuring high system availability and responding to critical issues, including outside standard business hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide direct support to end users by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Flow Cal, Detechtion, and associated integrations.

* Ensure high system availability and respond to critical issues.

* Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions supporting Flow Cal and Detechtion initiatives.

* Collaborate with vendors to support system enhancements and issue resolution.

* Develop and maintain batch scripts to support system operations.

* Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for system integrations.

* Utilize Power Shell scripting to automate processes and manage administrative tasks.

* Leverage SQL Server and Oracle expertise to support integrations, data management, and business reporting.

* Proactively identify and implement system and process improvements, incorporating AI technologies where appropriate.

* Apply data security best practices across applications and environments.

* Support audit activities by ensuring compliance with controls, policies, and procedures.

* Lead and contribute to IT projects through all phases of delivery.

* Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, standards, and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Education:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Experience:

A minimum of 7 years of related experience is required. This includes experience in IT project management and in designing and supporting IT system infrastructure, including test and production environments. AWS experience is preferred.

Technical

Skills:

Proficiency is required in Flow Cal, Detechtion, Python scripting, SSIS package development, SQL Server, and Oracle database development.

Professional

Skills:

Candidates must possess analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment. A demonstrated understanding and practical application of AI concepts and tools is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

* AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.

* Experience with Crystal Reports development and support.

* Experience with AI-enabled automation and scripting.

* Experience with industrial automation systems such as Cygnet, Top Server, and PI.

* Relevant certifications in IT support, database management, or related disciplines.

* Experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
